Sindh’s Ministry of Collegiate Education has taken stringent notice of the increasing cases of unauthorized photography of female teachers, lecturers, and students, and has imposed a complete ban on this practice in all colleges across the province. According to a directive issued by the Director of the Directorate of Collegiate Education Karachi Region, Professor Qazi Arshad Hussain Siddiqui, sharing images on social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and other digital platforms without permission will be considered a punishable offense.
In a circular issued to all college principals, the Director of the Directorate of Collegiate Education Karachi Region has emphasized that the provincial government takes the issue of unauthorized photography of female students and teachers seriously, and has instructed all college principals to take strict action against anyone found violating the ban.
The circular states that the practice of unauthorized photography and sharing of images on social media is not only a blatant disregard for the law but also goes against social and moral values. The government has made it clear that any violation of this ban will result in disciplinary action, including legal proceedings under relevant laws.
