In a shocking revelation, Sajid Hussain, father of Saadiya, a woman who met her untimely demise in a tragic incident at Bhati Gate in Lahore, expressed his disappointment and frustration at the lack of progress in the investigation. Speaking to a journalist in the courtroom, Sajid Hussain stated that his family has yet to receive any compensation or payment from the authorities.
When asked if the family is considering settling the matter through an out-of-court settlement, Sajid Hussain replied that they are still in shock and have just started to come to terms with the situation. “I have been summoned to the court today for the first time, and I have come,” he said.
It is worth mentioning that the tragic incident occurred when a mother and daughter duo fell to their deaths from a shopping mall’s upper floor in Bhati Gate. The case is currently being investigated by the District Courts in Lahore, with the parents of the deceased, Sajid Hussain and his wife, appearing in court.
During the meeting, the couple reiterated their support for the Kashmiri brothers and reaffirmed their commitment to interfaith harmony and tolerance. The discussion also touched upon the importance of religious tolerance and coexistence.
