A Grand Musical Night in Dallas Marks the Birthday of Salman Abidi, Founder of Rising Performance Hall

Dallas: In the DallasFort Worth Metroplex, where cultural expression increasingly reflects the diversity of its communities, the birthday of Salman Abidi, founder of the Rising Performance Hall, was marked with an elegant gathering and a vibrant musical night dedicated to music lovers. The event was held at the Rising Performance Hall in Carrollton, Texas, a venue that has emerged as a hub for live music, artistic expression, and community connection.
The evening brought together prominent figures from journalism, arts, and community leadership. Among the attendees were Raja Zahid Akhtar Khanzada, Editor-in-Chief of Jago Times; Kashmiri leader Ghazala Habib; renowned Pakistani singers Faisal Akhtar and Amanat Ali; senior Pakistani television artist Shahida Murtaza; Amber Ayub; and Manas Bashir, News Director Digital Media at Jago Times. The band was led by Furqan Khan, with Shyan Khan on bass, Shoaib Kareem on lead guitar, and Kareem Khalani on drums, each showcasing technical skill and musical cohesion. Vocal performances by Faisal Akhtar, Adnan Qureshi, and Amanat Ali further elevated the evening, as their voices carried the audience into a prolonged musical reverie that lasted well into the night.
Speaking in a special conversation with Jago Times during the event, Salman Abidi expressed his gratitude to the guests, artists, and friends who attended. He said that his vision for Rising Performance Hall extends beyond entertainment. His goal, he noted, is to provide Dallas with a dignified and organized platform for music and the performing arts. He also announced plans to bring what he described as the biggest stage play and musical show to Dallas in the near future, an event he believes will be both distinctive and memorable for the community.
