Two weeks have passed since the tragic incident of the Gl Plaza tragedy, but the families of the victims have yet to receive justice. Governor Sindh, Kamran Tessori, reached out to the families of the six people who lost their lives in the incident and expressed his condolences. The governor stated that he had come to visit a house where just one family had lost six members, and he was speechless.
The judicial commission has been formed to investigate the Gl Plaza tragedy, and the registrar of the Sindh High Court has written a letter to the Secretary of the Interior, Sindh, regarding the formation of the commission. The governor lamented that nothing has been done to bring the perpetrators to justice despite the public outcry. He also criticized the absence of the MPAs from the affected area, stating that the MPA from the area was not present, and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s in-charge was also absent.
Governor Sindh also paid tribute to the armed forces for their effective action against the terrorists in Balochistan. He met with the families of the victims and expressed his deepest condolences and regret. He assured the families that they would receive justice and every possible support.
