A successful kidney transplant operation was recently performed at Lahore’s Jinnah Hospital. The recipient, 23-year-old Arfan from Dera Ghazi Khan, received a kidney donated by his aunt. Punjab Health Minister, Khawaja Salman Rafique, appreciated the doctors involved in the successful operation, stating that the Punjab government is providing free surgeries to patients under the Special Initiative for Transplant Program.
