Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has confirmed that 41 Indian-proxy terrorists were killed in two separate operations conducted on January 29 in Balochistan province. According to the ISPR, one operation was conducted in the Harani district’s outskirts, where security forces effectively targeted the hideout of the terrorists. Following intense gunfire exchanges, 30 Indian-sponsored terrorists were eliminated. In the second operation, which took place near the Chapri Dam in Mianwali, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and terrorists exchanged fire. The killed terrorists were affiliated with the Khawarij and Hindustan factions, and a significant amount of arms and explosives were recovered from their possession, which were subsequently disposed of.
The second operation was conducted in the Panjgur district, based on a secret intelligence tip. During the operation, the hideout of the terrorists was destroyed, and 11 Indian-sponsored terrorists affiliated with the Hindustan faction were killed. These terrorists were involved in several past terrorist activities. According to the ISPR, arms, ammunition, and the looted money from the bank robbery in Panjgur on December 15, 2025, were also recovered from the terrorists.
The ISPR stated that the operation to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorists in the region is ongoing. Balochistan Chief Minister Sardar Saeed Ullah Danial said that the killing of 41 Indian-sponsored terrorists and the recovery of arms are a testament to the capabilities of the security forces. He emphasized that the government is committed to combating corruption and terrorism, and the zero-tolerance policy for terrorism is being implemented to maintain peace in the region.
In response to the recent terrorist attacks, the government has sealed all routes from Punjab to Balochistan, including the DG Khan route. The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed solidarity with the Pakistani government and people in the fight against terrorism. Rescue and fire-fighting efforts are ongoing in the affected areas.
In other news, the first-ever Agri-Culture Food and Drug Authority has been established in Punjab province. The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has announced a traffic plan for the “Jine Do Karachi” march organized by the Jamaat-e-Islami. The march will take place on Faisal Street at 3 pm today. The city’s residents are struggling to find affordable housing, and many are forced to live in rented apartments or flats.
Interior Minister Senator Musadik Malik has alleged that India is behind the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan. He stated that the Pakistani forces will defeat the attackers, just as they did in the past. A resident of Karachi, who is fed up with the city’s poor roads, asked the Mayor of Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, if there is any solution to the problem.
In a related development, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Luddhan expressed that 29 people were injured in the recent incident. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawyers have requested the medical report of the PTI founder and Chairman, Imran Khan, from the Adiala Jail authorities. The operation is ongoing, and patients and donors are recovering quickly.
The injured in the Drismand incident have been shifted to the hospital. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Saeed-ur-Rehman has stated that the big powers have bound our hands, but we will break free soon. Federal Interior Minister Musadik Malik has visited the Corps Commander’s Headquarters in Quetta after the recent terrorist incidents in Balochistan.
