Pakistani Commission Overseas Pakistanis plays a crucial role in the country’s economy, said Barrister Amjad Malik, Vice Chairman of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab, at a ceremony in Manchester. He emphasized that the current government has made the welfare of overseas Pakistanis its top priority, with Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and her team working tirelessly to address the challenges faced by them.
To achieve their goals, such as securing parliamentary seats and voting rights, overseas Pakistanis must unite and work together, Malik explained. The Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab, under their administration, hosts an online open court every month, and the establishment of the Overseas Facilitation Center in Lahore is a testament to their efforts.
Malik stated that the previous government failed to take any welfare initiatives for overseas Pakistanis, instead dividing them under a malicious conspiracy and rendering all institutions responsible for their welfare inactive. However, the current government is actively working to address their concerns, and the results are already visible, he added.
Barrister Amjad Malik emphasized that overseas Pakistanis cannot achieve their goals unless they are united. Meanwhile, a leaked audio message of PTI Secretary Information Sheikh Waqas Akram has surfaced, and he has been released from the Australian tour.
The French Embassy in Pakistan has congratulated Ali Akbar, a Pakistani national who has won an award in France. Former owner of the Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League, Ali Tareen, has been hospitalized after a heart attack. In 2003, Vivian Oberoi accused Salman Khan of threatening Aishwarya Rai, and PTI Chairman, Barrister Gohar, has issued a statement regarding the leaked audio of Sheikh Waqas Akram.
