In a recent ceremony held at the University of Karachi, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Dr. Khaled Mehmood Mukhtar, emphasized the importance of technology in the country’s education system. He stressed that in today’s era, knowledge and technology are the real sources of power, and mobile and digital technology are being considered as the future university.
Speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Muhammad Taqee, said that in the first phase, 32 graduates have been provided with laptops. He expressed his delight that the distribution of laptops has started from the University of Karachi.
Senior politician and Senator, Naveel Hashemi, also addressed the gathering, saying that it was an honor for him to speak at the country’s prestigious university. He also congratulated the team and the students.
Meanwhile, a leaked audio message of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary Information, Sheikh Waseem Akram, has surfaced. He has been released from the team ahead of the remaining two matches against Australia.
In a separate development, the French Embassy in Pakistan has extended its congratulations to Ali Akbar, a Pakistani resident of France, on receiving an award for being the country’s last newspaper vendor.
