The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) in Peshawar has seized approximately 6.4 million kilograms of illicit tobacco green leaf. This operation was conducted in the Anbar region of Swabi, where a non-compliant green leaf tobacco processing unit was dismantled.
According to officials, a significant quantity of tobacco and related items were confiscated during the operation, including the 6.4 million kilograms of illicit green leaf tobacco. The operation, led by Deputy Commissioner Karachi South Javed Nabi Khoso, marked the completion of the 8th day of the search operation launched following the Glitz Plaza fire.
