Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has claimed that he has attempted to meet with Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court on two separate occasions. During a media talk in Rawalpindi, Barrister Gohar stated that he waited for three hours to meet with the Chief Justice but was informed that he was busy. Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has been accused of advertising, and an action has been started against him. Barrister Gohar further stated that they had attempted to meet with the Chief Justice on two occasions, and will try to meet with the bench of division after that, along with the date.
The PTI leader emphasized that it is the constitutional and legal right of the PTI founder to meet with the Chief Justice, as he has three sisters to meet with, and the rest of the people are coming to express unity. He added that the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should not be accused of any wrongdoing, as the provincial government should not do anything that can be accused of.
Barrister Gohar also requested the opposition leaders to provide evidence for the allegations they are leveling, saying that they consider the notification of the opposition leaders as a good step. He also urged the government to extend its hand in dialogue, saying that if the government refuses to do so, the people will continue to protest.
