On January 21, Judicial Magistrate Naeem Watto will record the statement of the Punjab Minister, Sahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan Azam Bukhari, if he appears in court. If he fails to appear, a warrant or other action will be taken. The trial is expected to be completed in two months as per the Lahore High Court’s order, and the prosecution has ensured that the minister will appear in court for the next hearing.
The lawyer of Falak Javed opposed the request to record the statement of the Punjab Minister, Sahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan Azam Bukhari, at the end of the trial. Falak Javed and others are accused in a case registered against the minister.
