The Chinese national, identified as Abdumajid, was a resident of China’s Xinjiang region. The bombing occurred near the restaurant’s kitchen, which was run by Abdumajid and an Afghan national named Abdul Jabbar. The victims included four women and a child.
In a separate incident, Israel launched missiles at several locations in Lebanon, targeting the Hezbollah militant group. The move came as the US President Donald Trump faced pressure to withdraw his plans to attack Iran and occupy Greenland. In response to the possible US attack, Israel raised its defense alert level.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, warned that Iran would respond strongly if the US launched an attack.
