Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, has arrived in Switzerland to attend the 56th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. Upon his arrival in Zurich, he was greeted by Pakistan’s permanent representative to the UN, the Ambassador to Switzerland, and the country’s diplomatic staff. The Prime Minister is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar, as well as Federal Ministers, Ahamd Chimeh, Muhammad Orangzeb, Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant, Tariq Fatemi.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister will participate in various sessions, including meetings with global leaders. He will discuss economic stability, highlighting Pakistan’s improving economic indicators and the Triple-O Programme aimed at strengthening the country’s stability.
The Prime Minister has also shared updates on the recent floods in Pakistan, stating that 48 people have been post-mortemed, 86 are still missing, and operations are underway to retrieve possible bodies from the debris. Raja Nadeem Provez was a four-time Member National Assembly from Faisalabad and a one-time Member from Rawalpindi.
