In the letter, Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed his congratulations on the speech made against the Punjab Protection of Movible Property Act 2025 in the assembly. He stated that this issue has united the legal community. According to the letter, both professional groups have rejected it under the leadership of Hamid Khan, and the Punjab Bar Council, led by Ahsan Bhon, has also rejected the legislation. The letter states that the Punjab Bar Council is considering launching a formal movement against this legislation. According to the letter, Chief Justice Ayesha Nisar has suspended the controversial law properly.
