Karachi: In a bid to curb corruption and ensure transparency, the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) has imposed a strict ban on unrelated individuals entering its offices. According to an official notification, any attempt to solicit a bribe or commission from anyone will be dealt with severely. The notification also states that all public dealing offices will strictly prohibit the entry of unrelated individuals, except for those who have been authorized to visit the offices related to compliance with the DG KDA’s instructions.
In other news, the security situation remains grim, with a 48 percent hike in electricity prices looming large due to the Pakistan Central Power Authority’s (CCPA) request to the Nepalese government to adjust fuel prices in December.
