Pakistan’s opposition alliance, led by PTI Chairman Imran Khan, has reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its long-drawn battle for fundamental rights. In an interview with Geo News, PTI General Secretary Asad Qaiser stated that the opposition is ready for a prolonged struggle and will not back down from its demands. He emphasized the need for meaningful negotiations to establish a system where election rigging is eliminated, and the country needs a new charter of democracy.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan has also stated that the opposition is not afraid to hold protests and rallies to express its views and inform the public about the manipulation of their vote. He highlighted that the opposition is not deterred by the fact that the government has allowed them to hold rallies, but they are still being silenced.
Meanwhile, a gruesome incident has come to light in Lahore’s Green Town area, where a mysterious animal slaughter has been uncovered. The finance minister has acknowledged that the high cost of living and energy prices are real issues that need to be addressed.
In other news, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to simplify the immigration process between the two countries by introducing a pre-clearance system. The agreement is expected to be formalized soon.
