Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met with the parents of renowned IT expert Arif Karim Randhawa, who was recently honored by the PM for her contributions to the field. On this occasion, the PM emphasized the importance of providing international-standard IT education and training to the youth. He expressed satisfaction over the 16.5% increase in remittances in December and stated that the government is committed to making Pakistan a hub for the IT sector in the region.
The PM further stated that the government is encouraging entrepreneurship in the IT sector and providing laptops to high-achieving students. Arif Karim’s parents appreciated the government’s initiatives for the development of the IT sector. The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasted that the minimum temperature will range from 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature will range from 24 degrees Celsius.
