Sindh Education Minister has made a decision to change the time tables of schools due to the severity of the cold wave. According to the notification, government and private schools will open at 9 am, while the closing time will remain the same as usual. The notification states that the decision will be applicable until January 26.
In other news, a lady police constable who was arrested has been suspended, and a case has been registered against her at the Women Police Station. She claimed that she had also laid the foundation stone for various development projects in the Old City Area.
In a separate incident, the tracks leading to the People’s Bridge from Mazar-e-Qaid and the tracks coming from Khuda Dad Colony are closed. Pakistan has also emphasized the need for continuous support for Somalia’s stability and security.

According to rescue sources, five people lost their lives in the incident. The police claim that over 30 people have been taken into custody, and one police officer was injured in the clashes with the protesters.
