Karachi, Pakistan – The Quaid-e-Azam Express, a prominent train connecting Karachi to Lahore, has been stranded at the Jung Shahi railway station since 5 pm yesterday due to a technical issue with its engine. The delay has caused severe inconvenience to passengers, who are braving harsh winter conditions.
According to railway officials, a new engine has been dispatched from Karachi’s Lokshied to Quaid-e-Azam Express to rectify the issue. The delay has resulted in a 5-hour plus delay in the departure of the train, leaving passengers worried about their safety.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, the Lady Constable arrested earlier this week has been suspended and a case has been registered against her at the Women Police Station. She had claimed that she had laid the foundation stone for various development projects in the Old City area.
In other news, the Peoples’ Chorangi Road leading to Quaid-e-Azam’s Mausoleum has been blocked, as well as the Khudadad Colony Road. Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to supporting Somali stability and security, emphasizing the need for continuous assistance.
Chairman PTI, Barrister Gohar, stated that today marks the last day of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sahil Afridi’s visit to Sindh. In another development, the FIA spokesperson announced that 16,000 US dollars were recovered from a suspect arrested by the PECHS police.
Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, congratulated the Pakistan Navy on successfully conducting a missile test. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed the Health Minister, Health Secretary, and PMA Administration to remain vigilant and provide maximum medical assistance to the injured.

Sources reported that 5 people lost their lives in the accident. The police claimed that more than 30 workers were taken into custody, and one police official was injured due to the violence of the protesters.
