The Islamabad Police has reshuffled senior superintendent of police (SSP) positions in nine police stations in the federal capital, according to an official notification. The notification states that the SHOs of G-7/1, Sabzi Mandi, Secretariat, Tarnol, and I-9 police stations have been changed. Similarly, the SHOs of Margalla, Aabpara, Nilore, and Bahrakahu police stations have also been replaced. According to the notification, the multiple SHOs transferred have been assigned to the Islamabad Police. In a separate development, a lady constable was suspended after a court case was registered against her at the women’s police station. She had claimed that she had laid the foundation stone for various development projects in the Old City area. People’s Chorangi Road to Mazar-e-Quaid Road has been closed, as has the road from Khadda Dad Colony. Pakistan has emphasized the need for continuous support to Somalia’s stability and security. Chairman PTI, Barrister Gohar, said that today was the last day of Punjab Chief Minister Sindh, Saeed Afridi’s visit to the province. A suspect arrested by the PECHS police has been found in possession of $16,000, according to the FIA spokesperson.
