Punjab’s Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Hafizabad has been accused of alleged harassment by a woman. The woman claims that she was subjected to an unprofessional conversation when she went to the office to file a complaint about counterfeit currency. Following the emergence of the woman’s video, the District Police Officer (DPO) has taken notice of the case. The DPO stated that an investigation will be conducted into the matter, and action will be taken if the allegations are proven true.
On the other hand, the DSP of Hafizabad has denied the allegations made by the woman. In response to the allegations, the woman constable who was arrested has been suspended, and a case has been registered against her at the Woman Police Station. The DSP claimed that he had laid the foundation stones for various developmental projects in the Old City area, including a track from People’s Chowrangi to the Quaid’s Mazar and another track from the Khudadad Colony.
