Faisalabad, Pakistan – In a significant crackdown on narcotics smuggling, authorities have apprehended a notorious gang leader in Faisalabad who used unsuspecting pilgrims to transport narcotics from Makran to Faisalabad. The suspect, who lured people into offering free Umrah services, used this opportunity to smuggle narcotics.
According to police, the suspect was arrested after a massive haul of over 5 kilograms of charas was recovered from his possession. The suspect has been booked in a case at Thana Kharidia Nawala and is expected to face severe punishment for his crimes. The suspect had used five Pakistani nationals, including three women, by luring them with free Umrah services and subsequently using them to transport narcotics. The five individuals who were deceived by the suspect were later sentenced to 25 years in prison in Saudi Arabia.
