In a shocking development, the police in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, have arrested the CEO of a private IT company, his wife, and his husband for allegedly gang-raping a female employee. According to District Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal, the incident occurred in a moving car. The victim filed a complaint, and after recording her statement and conducting a medical examination, the police found marks on her body that suggested she was subjected to a gang-rape.
The police revealed that the accused were already in judicial custody, while the victim’s family demanded a harsh punishment for them, accusing them of instigating the accused to take their own lives. The police also obtained footage from a dashcam installed in the car, which contains audio and video recordings, and is being considered a crucial piece of evidence in the case. Based on preliminary evidence, the CEO of the company, Jitesh Sisodia, his wife Shilpa Sirohi, and his husband Gaurav, were arrested.
As per the FIR, the incident occurred on December 20 at a hotel in Shobhagpura, where the company’s CEO had hosted a birthday and New Year’s party. The police said that further investigation is underway, and all aspects are being examined carefully.
