According to a recently issued statement, the PTA has clarified that using a SIM registered in someone else’s name is a violation of the law. The full responsibility for incorrect use of SIMs will be on the registered user. Furthermore, the PTA has issued security guidelines for 5G services. According to the guidelines, users will be solely responsible for the use of their SIMs and telecommunications services.
The PTA has emphasized that adherence to regulations on calls, messages, and data usage is mandatory, and any violation can lead to legal action.
