In a significant operation, Pakistani security forces have killed two foreign terrorists in the Derah Ismail Khan region. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out in the Klaachi area of Derah Ismail Khan district on December 24, following intelligence reports of the presence of terrorists.
The security forces effectively targeted the terrorist hideout, resulting in the deaths of two foreign terrorists, including Dilaor, who was involved in multiple terrorist activities and was on the government’s wanted list with a reward of 40 million rupees. The ISPR reports that arms and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists, who had been involved in various terrorist activities and civilian killings in the region.
The operation is part of the ongoing clearance operation to eliminate any foreign-backed terrorists in the region. The security forces have vowed to continue their efforts against terrorism with determination and will, and the campaign will continue until the complete elimination of foreign-backed terrorism.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has warned that a system of western winds may affect the city from Monday to Wednesday, leading to an increase in cold temperatures in the region.
In another incident, a suspect was arrested in the Quetta region of Balochistan, who had claimed to be a member of the Anti- Vehicle Lifting Cell and had kidnapped a car owner along with his vehicle. The local fishermen reported that the dolphins had been trying to protect and assist a baby.
The Regional Police Officer (RPO) stated that the terrorists had attacked a drone and fired at civilians, injuring some. Rana Tahir Ali said that the government’s negotiation committee would include all coalition partners, including the PPP.
In a separate incident, the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir announced a general holiday in the region on December 27. The special committee chairman, Provincial Law Minister Aftab Alam, will lead the committee.
In other news, a special committee was formed to probe the allegations of blasphemy against PTI social media accounts. Barrister Gohar said that he had always been in favor of dialogue but that the authority to negotiate rested with Aitzaz Ahsan and Rajah Nasir.
The announcement further stated that the meeting aimed to strengthen relations between the two countries and increase cooperation in various sectors. The authority to negotiate was given to Maulana Aitzaz Ahsan, which was seen as a sign of distrust by the PTI party.
