This announcement comes as the opposition alliance, Tahreek-e-Huffaz, has accepted the government’s offer for negotiations. The alliance has stated that they are willing to come to an agreement on the restoration of the constitution, parliamentary supremacy, and civilian dominance.
In a recent interview with Geo News, Tahir Chaudhry said, “The position of the PTI keeps changing every hour.” He added that the prime minister has assured that talks will be held, but no blackmailing will be allowed. The opposition alliance has demanded that the government and opposition parties come to an agreement on the restoration of the constitution, parliamentary supremacy, and civilian dominance.
