ISPR Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has stated that Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza is necessary to achieve peace in the region. While addressing the Leadership Summit 2025, he said that Israel is constantly disrupting the peace agreements, and the Muslim nation’s main issue is that their priorities have not been set. He added that the Generation Z represents the future of the Muslim nation, which has shown awareness by resisting Israeli aggression.
Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman stated that the entire world is currently experiencing severe crises and the global system is being controlled by a few powerful nations. He claimed that the United Nations is being held hostage by major powers and that justice has been lost in the world. He added that Israel’s existence cannot be recognized, and the end of Israeli occupation in Gaza is inevitable to achieve peace.
The ISPR Chief further stated that Pakistan is the only nuclear power in the Muslim world, but unfortunately, the rulers of Muslim countries are more concerned with protecting the interests of the West rather than their own people. He emphasized that the void in the world can only be filled by Islam’s just system.
During the summit, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman also reiterated his support for the people of Palestine, Bangla Desh, and Kashmir, and demanded the Pakistani government to take practical steps for the Kashmiris. He also requested the government to purchase 50 Beretta sniper rifles, 100 sniper rifles, and 1250 modern automatic weapons ‘TWAS’ for the forces.
In other news, a severe fog engulfed Karachi in the early morning hours, reducing visibility to a few meters. The cities of Chaman, Qilla Abdullah, and Toba Achakzai experienced heavy rains and strong winds, causing significant damage to power lines, walls, and trees.
President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in Iraq for a four-day visit, where he was welcomed by Iraqi officials in Baghdad. A 7.1 magnitude earthquake was reported in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan, causing widespread panic.

In a tragic incident, three children were killed in a gas cylinder explosion in Zehri village. The children were between the ages of 1 and 7. Their parents were shifted to the hospital in an unconscious state. The accused, Iqbal, was sentenced to death and a fine of Rs. 5 million for one crime and life imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 5 million for the other crime.
In a separate incident, one gangster was killed during a search operation in Ghotothi. The police claimed to have recovered a dead body, which was identified as Karam Bux Kundrani. The operation is ongoing in the area to recover the abducted passengers.
