In a bold display of bravery, the Pakistan Army has foiled a terrorist attack in North Waziristan’s Buner area, killing 4 militants affiliated with the Indian-backed TTP faction, Fidayeen-e-Khawarij. According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the militants attempted to breach the security forces’ camp by ramming an explosives-laden vehicle into the outer security wall. The ISPR stated that the security forces thwarted the terrorist’s nefarious plans, and the wall collapsed due to the impact, causing significant damage to nearby civilian infrastructure and a mosque. The brutal attack resulted in injuries to 15 innocent civilians, including women and children.
The ISPR praised the bravery of the security forces, saying they fought valiantly against the terrorists.
