In a press conference held at the Governor’s House in Karachi, Tessori stated that Pakistan has emerged victorious against India, and we are a nation of winners.
“We are a nation that does not back down from challenges,” he said, emphasizing the importance of standing united against terrorism. “Every individual working at the Governor’s House is committed to transparency, and today, we will light lamps to honor the martyrs of the APS tragedy.”
The Sindh Governor also announced that essential commodities, including ration, will be distributed among deserving families, with the assistance of the business community. “We have complete trust in the traders who are working with us to distribute these essential items,” he said, assuring that the aid will reach the right people.
Tessori also touched upon the APS tragedy, saying that the perpetrators’ intention was to keep children away from education, but despite the tragic event, those children are now continuing their education. The Sindh Governor’s comments come in the wake of a recent CT scan report revealing a surge in terrorism incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2025.
