Murtaza asserted that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has understood the threat posed by the governor’s rule and that Chief Minister Saeed Afridi is making concessions to meet the demands of the federal government. The PTI has taken the first step towards taking action against Chief Minister Afridi, labeling him as an undeclared member.
In a scathing critique, Murtaza stated that the party’s policy shift is a betrayal of its founding principles. “I don’t see the party marching towards Islamabad,” he said, adding that the recent developments in the PTI have left him disheartened. Murtaza further emphasized that the party is now under the control of Alama Iqbal Khan, with Chief Minister Afridi preoccupied with saving his own skin.
