Muneeb Butt, a popular Pakistani actor known for his acting and style, has spoken candidly about his deep religious inclination and addressed the criticism he faces for sharing videos of his spiritual practices on social media. During a recent podcast appearance, Butt detailed the influence of his family’s religious environment on his faith.
Muneeb Butt attributed his religious leanings to his upbringing, describing his mother as a practicing Muslim who offers all five daily prayers, including Tahajjud (late-night prayers), and his father as a regular worshipper. Butt stated that religion is not a private matter for him, and he celebrates all Islamic days with joy and enthusiasm.
Regarding the controversy surrounding the sharing of charitable videos, the actor firmly defended his actions: “I deliberately post videos of Niaz (charity/offerings). People say I am showing off, but Allah knows the intention.” He argued, “If I can post videos of my travels, family, and recreation, why not videos of good deeds? People learn from these things. A clean intention is the most important thing.”
Speaking about his strong faith in God, Muneeb Butt shared his conviction: “People ask, where is Allah? I say that Allah’s help always arrives before the trouble. My faith is very strong.” Butt’s statement not only reflects his personal spirituality but also highlights the importance of faith expression for public figures.
