The head of Iran’s powerful military entity, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has made a significant and unequivocal announcement, stating that Iranian forces will begin manufacturing stealth missiles in preparation for a potential future confrontation with the “Zionist regime” (Israel). This statement reflects escalating regional tensions and Iran’s continued focus on enhancing its defense capabilities.
According to Iranian media, IRGC Commander Major General Pakpour commented on the previous military engagement between Iran and Israel. He asserted that the Americans and Israelis mistakenly believed that targeting and eliminating Iranian commanders would destroy their command structure, but their assumption proved wrong.
General Pakpour stressed that the missiles fired by the IRGC played the most crucial role during the 12-day conflict. He added that the forces are currently working to overcome and address the weaknesses that were identified during that war. General Pakpour claimed that “technically and militarily, we are still fully prepared to overcome any enemy today.”
