Pakistani rapper Talha Anjum has cemented his dominance in the music industry by being named the most streamed local Pakistani artist for the second consecutive year, according to Spotify’s annual Wrapped 2025 report.
Anjum’s success extended globally, as he was also recognized as the most streamed Pakistani artist across major international markets, including India, the US, the UK, and Canada.
The influential rapper used his success announcement on social media to issue a defiant message to his detractors and industry opponents. He claimed that all internal efforts to undermine his career—including “conspiracies, boycotts, legal notices, and false news”—had utterly failed to bring him down.
Talha Anjum confidently asserted that “Urdu rap is still at number one, right where it was a year ago,” attributing his sustained success to divine favor. He concluded by challenging his rivals: “Pray hard and work even harder; we will meet again next year,” a statement that reflects his unwavering confidence in his continued reign in the music scene.
