Rawalpindi witnessed a significant meeting aimed at reinforcing the strong defense partnership between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain. General Sheikh Mohamed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Bahrain National Guard, held discussions with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters (GHQ) of the Pakistan Army.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the high-level meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security dynamics, and strengthening existing defense cooperation. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further enhance the already robust military relationship between Pakistan and Bahrain.
During the interaction, Commander General Sheikh Mohamed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa highly praised the Pakistan Army’s exceptional professional capabilities and acknowledged its critical role in promoting regional peace and stability. Field Marshal Asim Munir reciprocated by highlighting the long-standing fraternal ties between the two nations and expressed Pakistan’s dedication to continuing cooperation with Bahrain across various sectors. The exchange underscores a shared commitment to addressing security challenges collaboratively and boosting military-to-military engagement.
