A tragic incident has been reported in the Solapur district of Maharashtra, India, where an 18-year-old young man, Yogesh Ashok Khyage, allegedly took his own life after posting a distressing note on Instagram. The event raises serious concerns about rising mental health pressures among youth and the role of social media in these crises.
Moments before his death, Yogesh posted a heart-wrenching message on his Instagram Story, writing: “I must leave everyone’s hearts before I die so that no one misses me after I die.” He also updated his bio with a cryptic line: “The end is the beginning of existence.”
The heartbreaking scene was discovered on Saturday evening when the young man’s parents and relatives returned home and found him hanged. Yogesh, a resident of Sushil Nagar who worked at a local bakery, was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but was tragically pronounced dead upon examination by doctors.
The young man is survived by his bereaved parents and sister. Local police have launched an investigation into the matter to determine the precise reasons that led him to take this extreme step, focusing on why his public signals of distress were not identified in time.
