Dion Ebrahim, the Assistant Coach of the Zimbabwe Cricket Team, has expressed his team’s readiness for the upcoming T20 Tri-Nation Series in Pakistan. Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Ebrahim underscored the strategic significance of the tournament for the team’s international aspirations.
Ebrahim highlighted that the Tri-Series will serve as crucial preparation for the forthcoming T20 World Cup, offering invaluable experience in adapting to diverse international conditions. He acknowledged that while many players are touring Pakistan for the first time, some have already gained vital experience through participation in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The Assistant Coach articulated the team’s motivation, stating that playing against a side like Pakistan, which possesses “World Class players,” will be an excellent benchmark. The series will allow them to gauge “where our cricket stands.”
