Awn Chaudhry, the Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis, has launched a scathing attack on the political rhetoric of the previous administration, categorically calling the popular slogan of ‘change’ (Tabdeeli) “fake and misleading.” He stated that the slogan was merely an attempt to deceive the public.
In his critique, Minister Chaudhry asserted that a “disgusting joke” had been played on the 250 million citizens of Pakistan. He strongly emphasized the principles of good governance, arguing that the nation must be run purely on merit and competence, rather than relying on superstitious practices.
The Minister also voiced deep concern over the international embarrassment the country has faced following recent reports published by a British magazine. These reports, which allegedly exposed details of misgovernance and abuse of power at the highest levels, have severely damaged Pakistan’s global reputation, according to Chaudhry. He concluded that the findings in the journal underscore the profound negative impact of the alleged deceptive politics.
