Faryal Gohar, the once-prominent actress and social figure of the Pakistani showbiz industry, has shared intimate details about a lesser-known chapter of her personal life. During a recent appearance on a private television program, she revealed that following her divorce from Jamal Shah, she remarried, but her second husband tragically passed away from cancer after nine years of marriage.
The actress recounted an emotional story dating back to around 2002, disclosing that she married a Dermatologist based in California. She clarified that her second husband was the Pakistani-American doctor, Dr. Irfan Jamil Rehman, whom she first met at her dentist’s clinic. She described him as her dentist’s brother and a “very nice person.”
Faryal Gohar shared that this marriage lasted for nine years, culminating in her husband’s death in 2011. Reflecting on her losses, she expressed the sorrow of having “lost many loved ones due to cancer.”
