Jeddah, Saudi Arabia: With a strong commitment to enhancing and innovating services for pilgrims, the fifth annual Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition has commenced in Jeddah. Organized by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, this crucial event is set to run until November 12, aiming to make the sacred journey for the Guests of Allah safer, smoother, and more spiritually enriching.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the conference and exhibition will cover 18 key sectors related to Hajj services, including logistics, security, health, and technology. The gathering serves as a vital platform, bringing together stakeholders and experts from across the globe.
Saudi media reports from Jeddah indicate a massive attendance, with over 150,000 visitors expected to participate in the five-day event. Attendees will benefit from rich opportunities for learning and knowledge exchange, utilizing 143 specialized sessions featuring 225 speakers and 270 exhibitors. These sessions will focus on addressing the logistical challenges and exploring modern solutions for Hajj management.
Furthermore, the conference anticipates the participation of 2,400 trainees from around the world, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s commitment to boosting human resource capabilities in Hajj management. This annual event is integral to the Kingdom’s enduring vision of ensuring the highest possible standards of service for the Two Holy Mosques and its esteemed visitors.
