Hollywood star Tom Cruise and actress Ana de Armas have ended their relationship, but sources report there is no animosity between them and they remain friends.
According to US Weekly, the 9-month relationship ended mutually. The primary reasons cited for the separation were their demanding professional schedules and a romance that was “moving at a fast pace.” During her relationship with the 63-year-old Cruise, de Armas was also busy with her new film Ballerina and other projects.
Reports suggest that while both actors wish to remain friendly, Ana needed “some time and distance.”
The pair’s romance reportedly blossomed during the pre-production of the sci-fi thriller Deeper, which has since been postponed. They developed an “undeniable chemistry” while training daily for difficult underwater scenes. Sources indicate that what began as professional respect soon evolved into deeper feelings, with Tom becoming “fully impressed” by Ana, who reportedly enjoyed his company and appreciated his supportive nature.
