The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a weather alert for several regions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A new weather system is expected to affect the province starting today.
According to the forecast, intermittent rain and snowfall are predicted in various parts of the province until November 5.
In response to this changing weather, the PDMA has directed all district administrations to remain on high alert and ensure that all necessary precautionary measures are in place.
Authorities have also expressed concern that the rainfall could trigger landslides in mountainous areas, creating a risk of potential road blockages. Residents and travelers are advised to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary journeys.
