A district court in Rawalpindi has ordered Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) social media activist Khola Chaudhry to be sent to jail on judicial remand.
This development follows her arrest late last night by the Cyber Crime agency. According to officials, Chaudhry was detained based on two social media posts that were allegedly deemed “anti-state.”
During her appearance in court today, Duty Judge Abdul Sattar heard the case and issued the order to move her to jail on judicial remand.
