Iran has once again clarified its stance on its nuclear program, announcing it is ready for negotiations but has also clearly defined its non-negotiable “red lines.”
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Tehran is prepared to hold talks regarding its “peaceful nuclear program.” However, according to foreign media, he unequivocally stated that Iran “will not talk about our missile program” under any circumstances.
Araghchi also reiterated Iran’s firm position on its technical capabilities, emphasizing, “We will not compromise on uranium enrichment.”
He added that while Iran wants to reach a “fair agreement” on its nuclear program, the conditions currently being “presented by the US are unacceptable.” This statement indicates that while Iran is keeping the door open for diplomacy, it will not concede on issues it deems critical to its national security and technological sovereignty.
