Renowned Pakistani Punjabi playback singer Naseebo Lal has strongly denied widespread rumors circulating on social media claiming that she had given birth to a son at the age of 55.
The speculation, which was being shared across various social media pages, prompted the singer to address the claims herself.
In a post on the social networking site Facebook, Naseebo Lal dismissed all such reports. She shared her actual joyous news with her fans, stating, “Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), I have become a grandmother. Thank you all for your prayers.”
The singer clarified that she had become a grandmother, not a mother. She also shared a photo of her newborn grandson and asked her fans to suggest a “beautiful and unique name” for him. Furthermore, she advised her followers to stay away from fake news.
