According to Saudi media reports from Jeddah, the painful incident occurred on the Bisha-Khamis Mushait road. The vehicle was transporting the students when the accident happened, resulting in the four fatalities. A fifth student who was also in the vehicle was injured and has been rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.
In a separate and unrelated development, the Saudi Ministry of Interior reported from Dammam that an individual convicted of serious terrorism-related crimes has been executed. The ministry stated that the accused was found guilty of charges including firing on security personnel, kidnapping, and murder.
