Australia has announced an update to its T20 squad for the upcoming series against India, bringing in young spinner Tanveer Sangha.
In a statement, Cricket Australia confirmed that Sangha has been added to the squad as a direct replacement for the team’s veteran leg-spinner, Adam Zampa.
According to the board, Adam Zampa will be unavailable for the start of the high-profile series due to “personal reasons.”
This change comes as both teams prepare for a significant five-match T20 series, which is scheduled to run from October 29 to November 8. Sangha’s inclusion is seen as an opportunity for the selectors to test emerging talent on the international stage.
