The price of gold continued its upward trend in both local and international markets today, pushing domestic rates to a new high.
In the international bullion market, the price per ounce of gold increased by $18, reaching a significant level of $4,113 per ounce.
Reflecting the global trend, the price of gold in Pakistan also saw a major hike. The rate for one tola of gold increased by Rs 1,800, bringing its new price to Rs 433,662.
Similarly, the price for ten grams of gold rose by Rs 1,543, settling at a new high of Rs 371,795.
The price of silver also experienced an increase. The per tola silver price went up by Rs 57 to Rs 5,124, while the price for ten grams of silver increased by Rs 49, reaching Rs 4,393.
