TAUNSA — Security forces have successfully reclaimed a government primary school from militants in the border region between Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, restoring calm and resuming educational activities.

A joint operation led by the District Police was launched to clear the area. During the operation, explosive devices were defused, and full control of the school was reestablished.
Authorities confirmed that the school has now been reopened and classes have resumed to ensure that students’ education continues without disruption.
District Police Officer (DPO) visited the school, distributed gifts among students, and assured them of their safety and protection. Locals praised the successful operation, calling it a step toward restoring lasting peace in the area.
