In a move that could provide minor relief to consumers nationwide, the Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has filed a petition with NEPRA.
The request is for a reduction of 37 paisas per unit, sought on account of the fuel price adjustment (FPA) for September.
NEPRA officials have confirmed that a public hearing to consider the request will be held on October 29. If approved, the decision will apply to all consumers across the country, including those served by K-Electric.
