Punjab Governor Saleem Haider has leveled a serious allegation, stating that Afghanistan has active Indian backing to carry out acts of terrorism inside Pakistan.
Speaking to the media in Shorkot, the governor stated unequivocally that this was not a new development. “For a long time, Afghanistan has been committing terrorism in Pakistan with Indian support,” Haider said.
He further commented on past policies, adding that previously, no one had given an appropriate response to this alleged nexus between Afghanistan and India.
Praising the current hardline stance, Governor Haider paid tribute to the current political leadership and “Field Marshal Asim Munir” (as quoted from the source) for their decisive actions against these elements, who, he stated, “entered Afghanistan and targeted terrorist hideouts.”
